Impact
In 2018, we launched MacPawCares as a series of company’s social impact initiatives to commemorate our 10th anniversary. These projects aimed to address pressing societal challenges. Since then, MacPawCares has grown from employee-inspired initiatives to a full-fledged corporate social responsibility program.
Despite enduring the ongoing war launched by russia in Ukraine, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to our principles. The resilience, determination, and courage exhibited by Ukrainians, coupled with the compassion and support of our partners and clients from around the globe, have created an indomitable force for good.

Trash Cleanup
Since 2019, we spearheaded several environmental initiative #CleanMyCity to clear trash from Kyiv's urban spaces, branching out into #CleanMyCarpathians and #CleanMySea.

Planting Trees
We want to help preserve green spots in Kyiv and make them comfortable for all.
That’s why we supported the renovation of the Fomin Botanical Gardens and SamoSad public space in Kyiv.
In March 2020 MacPaw took part in the reforestation in Koncha-Zaspa, an area south of Kyiv, after a forest fire badly affected the area.

Ukrainian Emerging Leaders Program
UELP is a 10-month training fellowship at Stanford University for policymakers, legal professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders of civil society organizations.
The program includes academic courses, events, and community engagement as well as visits to Silicon Valley tech companies. MacPaw joined the program to help fund scholarships for the participants.

Anti-Covid Action
Back in 2020, when COVID-19 pandemic hit the world, we as a socially responsible company, decided to act.
Wheelchair-accessible Taxi
50,000
In 2023, Ukraine’s taxi service Uklon introduced a new option – accessible taxis for wheelchair users. MacPaw joined this initiative and allocated over $50 000 towards this project.
The drivers took a training course in communication and interaction with people with disabilities by Dostupno.UA, an NGO working on normalizing disabilities and promoting accessibility in Ukraine.
MacPaw Foundation
In 2016, MacPaw established a charity arm — the MacPaw Foundation aimed at launching and supporting the company's social projects. On February 24, 2022, russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Established in 2013 and co-founded by Oleksandr Kosovan, CEO of MacPaw, the SMRK VC Fund focuses on venture investments in startups at both the seed and pre-seed stages. It has been involved in various notable projects like Esper Bionics, AJAX, Deus Robotics, and Aspichi.

Partnering with AlphaBravo, we launched Fixel font, which supports over 40 languages and has been downloaded more than 35,000 times. Fixel is available to the design community for free.

MacPaw joined The Repair Association, advocating for sustainable technology practices and the Right to Repair, aiming to decrease electronic waste and CO2 emissions.
